Teach NYS Provides Update on New York State Yeshiva/Chinuch Crisis
Yeshivas Must Remain Independent
Jewish Stories to Inspire: Motivational & Spiritual Stories Based on the Torah's Ethics, Values and Wisdom
On the yeshivah situation, first must ask if they get funding from any part of the government. If so, they must stop because once they take any money, they lose their control. If not, then in the democratic republic of the U.S., they have absolutely no right to interfere. It's also a very slippery slope because little by little the yeshivot will lose more control, and who knows what they will insist on teaching. Times are a'changing, r'l. Thanks to the kofer, a Mr. Moster (take out the 't' and it describes him perfectly) who brought this to the attention of the city of NY because he was angry that many yeshivot are not teaching some secular studies. Everyone knows that the best educated are those from parochial and private schools - this, again, shows it's part of the new agenda working in every which way to undo 'religion' everywhere. Keep protesting because otherwise it can lead to the closing of yeshivot, c'v. Their battle is with the Creator!
