I was walking down the main street of a mixed neighborhood in Israel yesterday when I saw a family had set up a table with some cups, bottles of water, lemonade and sweets. The mother and her children were offering free drinks to the passersby irregardless of religious persuasion. It was an example of Ahavat Chinam that will remain an indelible part of my memory for years to come.

MOVING VIDEO: 81-Year-Old Jew Cries After Donning Tefillin For 1st Time
This morning I passed by a man who was being helped to don tefillin a few steps from his storefront. I watched as a man helped him adjust the straps , and I continued on my way. As I returned to the same spot, I saw the store owner finishing a conversation with the man who had provided him the tefillin. After they took leave of one another, I asked the store owner if he performed this mitzva every day. He told me that the other man is a hot shot lawyer, but, before he goes to work, he makes sure to stop by at the man's store and helps him and others nearby to put on tefillin. Mi Keamcha Yisrael.

Time to Dismantle the UN
The seriously lacking apology issued by the #BBC regarding Anjana Gadgil's horrendous accusation that "Israeli forces are happy to kill children" makes undeniably clear how deeply biased against Israel the media truly is. Bringing a delegation of journalists from the UK to see Israel through their own eyes could not be more timely or needed. Yesterday the journalists were on their way to Tel Aviv at the time of the terror attack that hit the city. Today they visited an Iron Dome aerial defense battery which only hours earlier had intercepted rockets fired from Gaza at Israel. We hope that after experiencing the reality on the ground and understanding the challenges Israel faces, these journalists will be emboldened to share a different story about Israel in the media.
