Re the Tefillin story above: First, it seems the passenger should have clarified what the Tefillin are and explained himself better. It's very good that this is now publicized to the public. Second, Canada is not the most friendly in many places to the Jews. Third, Airports should start teaching their employees about basic customs of different peoples, as that is what they deal with worldwide. In an era with all the technology, human behavior is something that has not changed much.
