I am currently watchhing the Nefesh Bnefesh flight organized to bring new olim to Israel. It is heartwarming to watch the new immigrants stepping onto the tarmac with exuberant faces as they realize their dream. One couple just said thay have fulfilled their 40 year dream. As one of the organization's spokespersons said, quoting Ben Gurion, 'In Israel, annyone who doesn't believe in miracles is not a realist."
I wish all the new immigrants health, happiness and success as they move on to the next stage in their lives. I also take the opportunity to commend the Nefesh Bnefesh organization which has been instrumental in helping thousands upon thousands of individuals. As I heard just now, the organization's guarantee doesn't run out. Someone who made aliya over 20 years ago called them for assistance recently and was helped. Thanks to ELAL for their support.

For those who do not understand Hebrew, the article linked above is aboout a young boy from Florida, named Aviv, who was in a serious car accident and in need of prayers. His tefillin were taken for inspection and it was found that right after the word of his Hebrew name, Aviv, the letter "heh" in G-d's Holy name was rubbed out. The name "Meir" was added to his name. Please pray for Meir Aviv Avrohom ben Rivka.
