Mishlei 16:18:לִפְנֵי־שֶׁ֥בֶר גָּא֑וֹן וְלִפְנֵ֥י כִ֝שָּׁל֗וֹן גֹּ֣בַהּ רֽוּחַMany mefarshim (Ralbag, Me'iri, and more) explain that the Ga'ava is the cause of the downfall.Based on Rabbi Singer's comments, it is quite apt to apply this pasuk to the Rasha Merusha who brought GodTV to Israel.
