As I read the last two articles above, I thought about the final sentence in Pirkei Avot 2:1.

Reflect on three things and you will never come to sin: Know what is above you–a seeing eye, a hearing ear, and all your deeds recorded in a book.

  1. Rabbi Daniel Coren... what deep thoughts about the tree. Just today we noticed that our tree was already budding, and there's 4 or 5 feet of snow outside!!! But, there's those buds!!! It's been waiting since last year to bring those buds... what a lesson for parents ... thank you. We wondered the significance of the buds even while there's snow, and even before Tu Bishvat... Thank you ...
