Rav Yitzchak Ginsburg taught a few months ago that the geulah depends on women's prayers. He mentioned a midrash that says that Hashem created the world to hear the whisperings of righteous women (nashim tzadkaniyot) - which could either mean the words of chesed in their conversations with each other or the prayers they utter to Hashem.
