The tombstone of the Rosh Yeshiva of Kesah Rachamim, Maran Rabbi Meir Mazuz, zt"l, prepared according to his will. Zero titles, zero praise. Just Rabbi - the most junior, simplest title. He was humble in his life and death, and in place of his greatness, his humility. This is not a tombstone - it is a book of morals.
The verse that is on his tombstone reads
“Kirvat Elokim Li Tov,” “For me, closeness to Hashem is what is good”
