LIBERALISM BEFORE LIFE: MDA Refuses To Back Down As Blood Reserves Dip Dangerously Low
The JPost has an article titled ADL changes definition of racism after Whoopi Goldberg incident.
Apparently, the ADL's interim definition is "Racism occurs when individuals or institutions show more favorable evaluation or treatment of an individual or group based on race or ethnicity."
In 2020 the definition read, "the marginalization and/or oppression of people of color based on a socially constructed racial hierarchy that privileges white people."
Prior to 2020 , the definition was "the belief that a particular race is superior or inferior to another, that a person’s social and moral traits are predetermined by his or her inborn biological characteristics."
Personally, I beleve that the oldest definition is the best. According to the new definition, if a President commits to appointing a Black woman to the Supreme Court, he would be considered racist as he is showing favorable treatment of someone based upon race. By the same definition, any affirmative action program would be considered racist, as well.
