The reason there are such ignorant people now serving in the U.S. congress is because this is probably the most uninformed (dumb-downed) generation in American history. With all the information out there available to all, there has never been so many discrepancies, lies, myths instead of facts written and talked about as there is today - a world of lies! Instead of schools teaching facts, 'real' history, etc., there is indoctrination and the liberal universities are there, apparently, for one reason and that's 'indoctrination'. Societies get the leaders they deserve! It seems that's really the truth.
