BBCwatch called attention to the BBC rebranding of the Munich Olympics terrorists.
As can be seen below, both in the synopsis to the clip appearing on the BBC News website and in the on-screen caption in the video itself, the BBC has once again avoided the use of the word terror, preferring to describe the perpetrators as “Palestinian extremists” and a “Palestinian extremist group”.

In yesterday's State Department briefing, journalist Said posed a number of questions to Mark Toner. He had no problems using the word "terrorist" multiple times. Additionally, most articles refer to the perpetrators of the attack as "suspected" Jewish settlers, Said categorically refers to them as Israeli settlers. I would advise the Israelii police to interview Said as he seems to know more than anyone who carried out the attack.
...it’s been 31 days since Israeli terrorist settlers attacked the village of Duma, killing a Palestinian baby and his father and mother and so on.
MR TONER: Yes, and his father, yeah. Mother, yeah.
QUESTION: And at the time, you expressed confidence that Israel has the wherewithal to pursue the terrorist perpetrators and bring them to justice, yet we don’t see this kind of raiding of the settlement to bring the perpetrators to justice. Are you still satisfied that Israel is doing all it can to apprehend the terrorist suspects in the settlement?
