The Missing Light
Rav Chaim’s passing leaves the world a darker, sadder, emptier, and more dangerous place than it was when he was alive. We all need to improve in the areas in which he excelled to help bring back some of the missing light and Torah and yashrus and middos tovos and humility and dikduk b’mitzvos. We can all improve. We can all be nicer, learn more, daven better, be better people, and work to make a positive difference in the lives of others, so that we can help bring about the coming of the Moshiach Rav Chaim told us was imminent, making the world a better place in which to be until the moment arrives. Full Responsibility
Man killed in Be'er Sheva stabbing attack was Chabad-Lubavitch emissary
Rabbi Shalom Duchman, Director of Colel Chabad, responded to the murder by saying, "Rav Moshe Kravitzki was the gentlest of souls whose entire life was about caring for others."
Be'er Sheva terrorist taught high school in Bedouin town
In 2016, as part of a plea bargain, he admitted to a list of security offenses, including creating an ISIS terror cell. He was then sentenced to four years in prison and 12 months of conditional imprisonment.
In the ruling, judge Yoel Eden wrote, "The punishment should be on the lighter side," since "the accused has taken full responsibility for his actions, admitted to the amended indictment, expressed regret for his actions, and said that he knows he was wrong and will not do it again."
