The sheloshim

The tombstones of the seven members of the Bernstein and Gotstein families who were killed in a minibus-train collision, were erected upon the sheloshim (the thirtieth day) of their petira. The heartrending photos of the seven tombstones with the inscription written on the back of them should shake us out of our reverie and give us pause to reflect on the fragility of our lives and the faith that carries us through the darkest times.
